How I Started a Blog

The first step is to come up with a name. This is easier than it sounds. Run it by your friends and family. Sit on it for a few days and make sure you like it. Also, you'll need to make sure that no one else has it. Do a Google search and see if it's taken.
The Easiest Way to Create a Website. Weebly.com
I used Weebly to create this website. It's free and easy to use. There are hundreds of templates that you can choose from to create your own design, and you can create as many pages as you want. The blogging is easy, and a lot of the code is already set up. You can just click and start typing. It took me about a day to create my site. I recommend checking it out if you want to start your own blog. You can get your domain name (URL address) free from them by using a your name here.weebly.com address or you can buy your domain name through them.
GoDaddy - World's #1 Domain Registrar
You also can buy your domain name through GoDaddy and then set up the hosting through Weebly. I know this sounds confusing, but Weebly walks you through the process. I knew very little about this before I started, and I feel good about where I am today.
